Carlos Cuevas Morales – Carlos obtained his B.B.A. in Management/Minor Economics from the Catholic University, Ponce after graduating from the Colegio San Jose, Rio Piedras, P.R. He also graduated from the College of Insurance, New York, where he studied “Insurance/Loss Prevention Degree/Safety” and from Crawford and Co., in Atlanta, GA., where he studied “Insurance Claims Investigation/ Risk Management.” He also served in the U.S. Army from which he was Honorably Discharged. Carlos presently lives in southern Florida.
Luis M. Rivera Cruz – Luis is a solutions-oriented security specialist with notable knowledge in all aspects related to the implementation, marketing, and administration of security solutions in support of business objectives. He has a successful track record of more than 35 years in administration, marketing and supervision. Luis has supervised over 1800 employees and administered projects with budgets exceeding $140,000,000 million dollars. He has a history of implementing innovative security programs, consulting, and evaluating risks. Luis lives in Puerto Rico.
Gloria Piñeda Cárdenas– Gloria obtained a master’s degree in “Secretariado Comercial” from the “Instituto Comercial Gregg” located in Medellín Colombia. She moved to PR where she pursued further studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico to become a librarian. Gloria eventually worked for 20 years as secretary for the President of the Universidad Politécnica. While working for the President she also founded the university’s historical museum. Gloria is presently the Politécnica’s librarian and the coordinator of the university’s social and civic functions. In addition, she is a chaplain who visits diverse correctional facilities throughout the island of Puerto Rico.
Jorge Rafael Calderón– Born in Puerto Rico in 1963, Jorge is an artist who works in a variety of media. With a conceptual approach, Jorge accesses a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way. After obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts with majors in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Pratt Institute in New York, Jorge spent the following 25 years developing and nurturing his different voices as an art director, illustrator, graphic designer, actor, musician,and advertising creative agent. His artworks directly respond to his surrounding environment and he uses everyday experiences as a starting point. Often these experiences are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. His work can be found in private art collections both in the United States and abroad. He currently lives and works in Miami.
Selma De Jesus-Zayas, Ph.D. – Selma is a Clinical/Forensic psychologist with 23 years of experience working in the federal correctional system. She is a published author in the field of psychology and has testified in federal court on numerous occasions as the federal government’s expert witness. Selma is an expert on matters pertaining to competency to stand trial, dangerousness, and sanity at the time of the offense, as well as issues pertaining to the federal corrections system. Selma lives in south Florida.
